This year, I used artificial intelligence to create an alphabet that combines the styles of William Morris, Ernst Haeckel, and Rembrandt for the 36 Days of Type project. This open Instagram project invites designers, illustrators, and visual artists to create and share their visual interpretations of letters and numerals for 36 days.
Initially, I thought it would be easy, but it was not. I had to use a new prompt for almost every letter, and some letters took loooooonger than others.
I also experimented with Leiapix and Adobe Aero to animate some of the photos and create some interactive augmented reality experiences.
If you want to know the prompt I used for each image, you can grab the PDF available for free on GumRoad, which also includes useful bonus tips.
